Well, I finally got my Cam today, I bought the Flip Video mino! It's really YouTube friendly. If it was'nt for me saying umm, so much and did a little more rehesal, I think it would have turned out better, lol

There is a great new feature that I love! Everyone likes products to be rechargeable right? Well, then get yourself one of those AA battery recharging kits you can find at your local big box stores! Because this set does not want to take a rest! The iWear AV310 comes with a battery holder for a AA sized battery. This Product displays up to 4 hours of 2D video with an alkaline battery or 11 hours with a single lithium AA battery. The Arctic Collection

The Arctic Collection: The stemware in this line does not feature your usual stem, but the bowl sits on a polished, heavier cone shaped base, edged in a honeycomb pattern. The bowl is very clear and smooth. All tumblers are edged in the clear honeycomb pattern of the stems. This collection is similar to the Arctic Frost Collection except that where the ‘ Arctic ’ is polished the ‘Frost’ is not. Styles include Glasses, Decanter, Pitcher and a Carafe W/Base.

The Arctic Frost Collection

Arctic Frost Collection: The stemware in this line does not feature your usual stem, but the bowl sits on an unpolished, heavier cone shaped base, edged in a honeycomb pattern. Unlike the Arctic, which is clear throughout, the Arctic Frost is left unpolished, creating the “frosted” look. The base of each piece bears a permanent resemblance to regular glasses that have been placed "to frost" in the freezer. The cup is very clear and smooth. . All tumblers are edged in the frosted honeycomb pattern of the stems. Styles include Glasses, Decanter, Pitcher and a Carafe W/Base.

The Afterglow Collection

The Afterglow Collection features an elegant etched pattern. After the glass form is created from molten glass by an artisan, it is then allowed to cool. Then the matte finish at the bottom of each piece is created when the glass is dipped into an acidic substance causing the glass to be "frosted" yet smooth. Each individual piece then goes on to etching stations where craftsmen etch the lined pattern into the glass. This Collection includes Wine Glasses, Decanters, Vase and Candle Cone.

The Roxi Collection: This collection is mouth-blown, lead free crystal, engraved by hand with fine parallel lines with squares and rectangles edged in between. There are four styles of glasses and a Pitcher.

Another use for the Vuzix iWear AV230

A Quick Story: We had a lot of fun with the lower resolution AV230 using our families nightscope. We like to go up north in Michigan to view the wildlife at my Mothers house. Have you ever been in total Darkness and heard the sound of what you think is animals running through the forests? Let me tell you, I'm no kid, I'm 53 years old and it can Creep you out! I mean, you can even see your hand in front of your face, lol.We had bought the nightscope last year to maybe see the animals. If you have ever used one of these, then you know what kind of eye strain you can get. It's very uncomfortable. The last time we went up there, I took a set of the Vuzix iWear AV230 up with us and hooked it up to the Video out jack, made the settings in the menu for using the out jack. all I can tell you is Wow. It's like I bought an expensive pair of nightvision Goggles. The view was fantastic. I would not recommend the AV920 as the Higher Res won't help with Nightvision.

My first Post

Hello Everyone,

First and foremost I'm sorry to have to open this blog today. I have been watching all the Videos on the News about 9/11. It truly is a sad date. please Pray for all the Victims and their Family's.

On with my very first posts:
I have never blogged in the past. Please understand that I'm a learning process of using this new venture. I'm in no way an "Editor" lol, I may have some grammar errors but I promise to use the spell check :)

Today I just did the basic setup here and I'm sure it won't be long where I can actually start talking about my Store. We have some nice products and this blog might give me a chance to go more in detail with them. I hope to someday soon get a Video Camera and do some product descriptions that are more informative than whats on the store.

We will see how I do, Won't we :) Please wish me luck as I know I will need it.

Just a quick note for navigating on my store. When you open the Home page http://www.greatlakesbuy.com/ You will see along the top left in the vertical nav links, "Products" With the store software I have, it's a fly-out menu. This means as you hover your mouse over the links, the menu will expand and branch out to the different categories. I know it's hard work but that what I have for now.
